Hi, Iām Sara!
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#126067), supervised by Erin McTigue, and specializing in fertility and all forms of family building. My own reproductive struggles inspired me to become a therapist, in order to help women and couples facing this very distinct and difficult life stressor. Through my work, I strive to reduce the isolation and social stigma of fertility and pregnancy-related issues.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the public sector as an elementary school teacher for 15 years and as a volunteer coordinator at Berkeley Meals on Wheels. I loved working with populations across the lifespan continuum, and I honed my ability to recognize and build upon the unique strengths and goodness of each individual. I bring that same lens of nurturance, empathy, and hope to my work with clients.
